Fans are gathering along Broad Street in Birmingham today for the funeral procession of Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away at the age of 76. The cortege will proceed through the city center this afternoon, July 30, making its way past the iconic Black Sabbath Bridge, where many fans have left floral tributes, cards, and balloons to honor the legendary rocker.
The procession is scheduled to arrive on Broad Street at 1 PM, accompanied by a live brass band, Bostin’ Brass, marking this poignant occasion as Ozzy’s final journey through his hometown before a private family funeral.
Kirsty Bosley, our reporter on the scene, offered some advice for those wishing to catch a glimpse: “If you want my advice, head to what I’m now referring to as Snobs corner! Then you’ll see him pull in and you’ll be able to view the length of Broad Street from the top. If you see me, say hello.”
