Fatal Shooting in Stoke Newington
A murder investigation is currently underway following the shooting death of a 45-year-old man in north London’s Stoke Newington area.
Incident Details
Emergency services were alerted just after midnight on Tuesday to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Near the site, a Lime bike was found abandoned on the pavement, highlighting the chaos of the incident. The police have since informed the victim’s next of kin and are providing them with support from specialized officers.

Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots—specifically, four or more—along with subsequent shouting and screaming. One individual claimed to have seen a person fleeing the area in the aftermath.
