This weekend, Capesthorne Hall, an exquisite 18th-century structure, will transform into a vibrant music venue as it welcomes some of Manchester’s most celebrated musical talents for the return of Cheshire Fest. Set within a sprawling 100-acre estate near Siddington, the hall not only boasts beautiful gardens and a picturesque lake but has also served as a backdrop for notable television productions like “Cobra” and “Making of a Lady.”

On Saturday, August 2, the festival will attract over 5,000 music enthusiasts, eager to experience a lineup headlined by Ministry of Sound Ibiza Anthems featuring Ellie Sax & Friends, promising an infusion of Ibiza’s energetic atmosphere into the scenic English countryside.

The event will showcase a strong Manchester presence with performances from Bez of the Happy Mondays and Peter Hook and the Light. The Inspiral Carpets, known for their influential role in the early ’90s Madchester scene, will also grace the stage, featuring their iconic keyboardist Clint Boon.

Other artists scheduled to perform include Tunde of the Lighthouse Family, K-Klass, Billie Clements, Kenny Thomas, and Nico Harmony throughout the day. This year, organizers have introduced a new stage, the Indie Live Lounge, which will host performances from Inspiral Carpets and Bez while spotlighting emerging indie talent.

Festival gates will open at noon, with entry closing at 6 PM, and festivities are set to continue until 11 PM. This over-18 event will feature numerous bars and food stalls within a vibrant street food village. Additionally, attendees can look forward to a silent disco, an international lager bar, and a wellness tent offering juice detox options.

Cheshire Fest organizers expressed their excitement for the upcoming event, stating, “Following a successful launch last year, this firm favorite amongst Cheshire partygoers is returning on Saturday 2nd August for a day and night of world-class performances. Featuring multiple stages, including the all-new Indie Live Lounge, 5,000 partygoers are expected to attend this one-day event, with VIP tickets already sold out. Nestled within 100 acres of picturesque countryside, Macclesfield’s impressive stately home Capesthorne Hall will once again be the backdrop for a selection of dance, house, rock, indie music, and more.”

General Admission tickets for Cheshire Fest are now available starting at £40.
