Tommy Robinson’s Arrest and Bail Release

Tommy Robinson, known legally as Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has been released on bail after being apprehended in connection with an alleged assault at St Pancras train station in London.

Details of the Arrest

The 42-year-old was taken into custody at Luton Airport after a video surfaced, showing him leaving the scene of an alleged incident at the train station. The footage, shared on social media last Monday, depicted Robinson walking around the station with another individual lying motionless nearby.

After leaving the train station, Robinson was observed descending a staircase, while the injured man was subsequently transported to a hospital for medical attention.

Police Statement

On Monday, the British Transport Police (BTP) confirmed that they had arrested a man from Bedfordshire, stating: “Officers from BTP have tonight arrested a 42-year-old man from Bedfordshire in connection to an assault at St Pancras station in London on July 28.”

The arrest occurred shortly after 6:30 PM, following a tip-off that he had arrived on a flight from Faro. Robinson had reportedly left the country for Tenerife in the early hours of July 29, just after the alleged assault.

He was detained on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and was taken into custody for questioning.

Victim’s Condition and Ongoing Investigation

The victim of the incident was released from the hospital last Wednesday after receiving treatment for serious injuries as reported by the police. As investigations continue, Robinson has been released on police bail until September 8.

Robinson’s Response

Following his release, Robinson took to social media, posting: “RELEASE THE FOOTAGE @metpoliceuk.”
